With a new class to run at Kawartha, Kelly and team were certainly damp after another rain out.
A new car certainly brings a new challenge and with it being tight, the practices and heat races were spent trying to loosen up the car and with several large adjustments and changes it had been freed up and was certainly more drivable. "We had finally got the car where I wanted it" said Kelly "I was prepared for a good run in the 40 lap feature".
Just as Kelly lined up for the race, the rain started to fall and shortly after the officials called off the race.
Kelly and the team are back at Kawartha this Friday for a full evening of racing weather permitting.
