Kelly stepping aside for her team mate
A good start to the evening's racing with a second place finish in her heat had Kelly looking to try and repeat her success from the previous week's race.
Starting second last in the semi, due to an unlucky draw, and just three laps in saw Kelly hit from behind forcing her into her team mate's car. Major front end damage was done to both cars ending the evening to Kelly and Kyle McCabe.
With severe damage to Kyle's car, Kelly has decided to step aside and let Kyle race her car until he can get his back on the track.
Kelly's next on-track appearance will be on the 12th July at the famous Mosport International Raceway, where she will be taking part in the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame event. Kelly will be driving various high performance road cars (Porsche, Mercedes, Audi) around the 2.45 mile track as part of the celebration.
